Another year
This newsletter has lain fallow for a bit, mostly because, honestly, it’s been hard to concentrate on things like cooking. But our CSA begins today and runs through the end of the year, and so I’ll be back to fake-out pesto and all kinds of other veggie shenanigans starting this weekend. I’m also taking care of a friend’s garden while they’re away this summer, and thus entitled to all of the herbs and lacinato kale and raspberries growing therein. Expect more shortly.
In the meantime, what are you eating? And harvesting? What have you had that’s been great? I made this carbonara earlier in the week and it was so, so good (and even better when the leftovers were fried in a pan with a little butter the next day).
